We are speechless.
DEAR FUTURE CHILDREN won the audience award at the 42nd Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival - but not only that.
Thanks to your fantastic support, our brilliant team and thus many enthusiastic viewers, the tickets for DEAR FUTURE CHILDREN at the digitally held Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival were sold out after only three days and thus already halfway through the festival.
This means that over 1000 people have already seen the film and sent us some incredible feedback.
For us, this is above all a sign of our strong community.
Our biggest thanks go to all those who have supported us during the past months, who have helped us to build an ever-growing network around the project.
We would also like to give special praise to the Max Ophüls Prize team for making the festival possible in such an all-encompassing way and hope that other film festivals affected by the pandemic will follow this example.
For those of you who unfortunately missed this chance to see the film or were unable to see it due to the geographical restriction to Germany, we can give you the positive outlook that the next film festival and with it the next chance is already coming up. We will inform you about more exact dates as soon as possible.
We hope that this award will enable us to reach an even broader audience during our project's distribution and festival circuit. With our distributor Camino Filmverleih, our world sales agent Magnetfilm and with great support by the MFG Film Fund Baden-Württemberg, we are working hard and exploring numerous ways to build up the platform for the stories of Pepper, Hilda and Rayen and to make this film accessible to as many people as possible.
Thank you all so much for your wonderful support.
